Changing Employment Pattern amongst Coffee Plantation Workers in Karnataka, India

This paper studies the impact of mechanisation on employment patterns in coffee plantations Indian state Karnataka. study attempts to highlight fact that farm developing countries decreases with agricultural mechanisation, particularly for women workers. To measure technology workers Karnataka, unit level data from employment-unemployment survey was collected National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) two time points 1999-2000 and 2011-2012 based usual principal status employment. Changes division labour occurred due introduction mechanical dryers.
